Sometimes I get a headache after a massage, is this normal?
Some people do get headaches after a massage, but they are usually not serious. They can be annoying and may prevent you from wanting to get a massage when you really need one.
The best way to avoid headaches is to stay hydrated, and for your blood sugar levels to be stable.
Drinking plenty of water before and after your massage, and having a small snack an hour before your appointment can reduce your risk of developing a headache.
